This manifest indicates that Tekla Wapiennik was a 20 year married old female who could not read or write. Her occupation was listed as a housewife. She came from Krzyz, Galcia (modern day Poland) and was identified as Polish. Her father is identified as Jan Magiera, who also lived in Krzyz. Passage was paid for by her husband Piotr and she was heading to live with him at “No. 150 – 506 E. Chicago, Ind.” She was 5’4″ with a fair complexion, brown hair, and brown eyes. She was born in “Offeriow, Galicia.” [debatable legibility].

This manifest indicates that Stanislawa Wapiennik was a 1 year and 6 months old female, and was the daughter of Tekla (see above) and Piotr Wapiennik. However, this manifest is wrong. Piotr and Tekla’s oldest child was a male, and his name was Stanislaw (“Stanley”) and that is the person this manifest is representing.

This manifest indicates that Franciszek Wapiennik was only 5 months old male, and was the son of Tekla (see above) and Piotr Wapiennik.
