This manifest indicates that Jozefa Wapiennik was a 20 year old married female. She was a housewife and could read and write. She was from Krzyz, Galcia (modern day Poland) and was Polish. Her father lived in Krzyz, Galicia and his name was “Hakey Lhiba” [very debatable]. She was headed for Chicago, Ill and $30 with her. She was going to live with her mother “Leonora Wapiennik” at “2329 Roby Ste. Chicago, Ill.” She had a fair complexion, was 5’2″ and had brown hair and brown eyes. This manifest indicates that Marya was Jozefa’s daughter and was 1.5 years old and was going to stay with her grandmother (presumable Leonora, see above).

This manifest indicates that Jozef Wapiennik is the husband of Jozefa Wapiennik (see above) and the father of Marya Wapiennik (see above). He was going to live with his mother, Leonora Wapiennik and he had an Uncle in Krzyz named “Jan Lapowski” [debatable legibility].

They made the voyage with Jan Wapiennik.
